Be it in between takes or on a day off from work, celebrities have been snapped puffing away on brands like JUUL, Blu cigs, logic or eonsmoke. But the constant reminder of the harmful effects of smoking tobacco has forced some of Hollywood’s elites to search for alternatives.
Luckily, the e-cigarette is there to help them kick the habit. It may not have the same feel as an actual cigarette stick, but it has been deemed a lot safer. Here are a few celebrity e-cig aficionados:
Leo wears many hats: actor, endorser, and advocate for the environment. The Oscar winner is among many in Hollywood who have chosen ecigs to kick their bad habits. Mr DiCaprio’s looks to be loving the stick as he has been seen on many public occasions puffing away.
On his way to winning the Academy Award for Best Actor for his portrayal of 19th-century frontiersman Hugh Glass in The Revenant, Leo was seen smoking his electronic cigarette during the 2016 Screen Actors Guild Awards, for which he also won the male acting award.
In 2014, Leo also lit up an e-cigarette while seated with his The Wolf of Wall Street co-stars at the 2014 Golden Globe Awards. He has also brought the habit along abroad as he was seen smoking during amfAR’s Cinema against Aids Gala held during the 2015 Cannes Film Festival in France.
Needless to say, the multi-hyphenate is clearly a fan of the alternate to tobacco smoking.
